When I learned about plans under consideration by the City of Los Angeles to dump its solid waste in our hometown of Palmdale, I had a simple message: We're not gonna take it!
In real life, I cut hair for a living. In cyberspace my mission is simple--educate the people in the Antelope Valley about what's going on in LA and stop plans to send truckloads of trash up the 14 Freeway every day to dump LA's waste in our backyards and fill in our neighbors about how they can take action.
I try to give back as much as I can to my community...doing notprofit work, volunteering with the environmental groups or hosting a "cut-a-thon" to benefit the homeless. But stopping LA's plans to dump on our hometown will take all of my best efforts--and yours.
